Dynamic Cone Penetrometer – QualiDCP-C is a tool designed for fast, on-site evaluation of the structural condition of road pavements built with unbound materials. It delivers continuous readings to a depth of approximately 850 mm, or up to 2 meters with extension shafts.
This device helps identify layer boundaries when pavement strength varies, allowing for accurate layer thickness assessment.
Previous research has shown a strong correlation between DCP results and California Bearing Ratio (CBR) values. This allows test results to be interpreted in line with CBR-based pavement design standards.
Each test takes just a few minutes, offering a highly efficient alternative to more invasive methods like digging test pits.
