The CDF/CIF-Freeze-Thaw Testing Equipment is a high-quality device designed for conducting freeze-thaw resistance tests on building materials. It features a microprocessor controller with an internet interface and complies with all relevant safety regulations for refrigeration and electrical systems.

The CDF machine supports the implementation of freeze-thaw resistance tests in accordance with RILEM Recommendations for CDF/CIF tests, CEN/TS 12390-9, CEN/TR 15177, ASTM C666 Procedure A, and other standards.

Testing setup

The specimen containers with the samples are suspended in a bath with heat-transfer liquid. This setup ensures optimal temperature distribution, rapid temperature adjustment, and a temperature gradient perpendicular to the tested surface. Due to the excellent thermal contact, the temperature can be maintained very accurately throughout the entire temperature curve.
